Why a new platform for ideas?
When Pridea was founded in 2012, we anticipated that an idea platform would be one of the success factors to generate and implement as many employee ideas as possible. Sofware easy to use and a low barrier to support a culture of continuous improvement. Our first mission is to facilitate organizations in the process from idea to result. Software is only an instrument to achieve that goal. Hence, during our start-up phase we postponed a decision on the platform.
The boundaries of Excel Only 3 months after the start of our first project we had already we reached the limits of Excel. Too many ideas and too much information to keep track of and inform the customer about. We decided to look around for best in class idea platforms. Existing software has the wrong focus In our market research we found many different software applications: Idea Management software, many Social platforms, Decision Enablers, many tools for supporting internal projects, reporting and business intelligence. And we did not find a platform that is an enabler for our philosophy: the only idea that counts, is an implemented idea. All the above mentioned components are required, but no platform incorporates all components in a holistic way. XiBE That made us decide to aim for quality. Just six months later, the first Idea Fulfilment platform XiBE was live! Since mid 2013 XiBE has undergone constant development. Many, idea implementation focus, functionalities have seen the light. Regularly we release new XiBE versions to serve organizations. Whether it's on your desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Anyplace. Anytime. |
